The previous owners had the chassis, ash frame and interior refurbished by Cobus and seats re-upholstered to keep the vintage look alive with over 4500hrs of work going into the restoration.

New in March 1959, WLO 685 was delivered to Curries of Bexleyheath, passing to Carters of Royston before going to Kenzies of Shepreth in 1967, staying there for 21 years and finally ending up with a Scout troop in the North East. 

It was then discovered that it had been stored under a tarpaulin for over a decade before being brought to Norfolk and eventually being restored by its new owners Jon & Lyn Ann Moore who eventually put it back into service for day excursions and private hires for Spratts of Wreningham. 

We acquired the vehicle late 2018 to replace our blue Bedford Vega SB3 and has become a firm favourite among our drivers and passengers.
