Restoration Update - 14th March 2016

It's been a while since our last restoration update, and lots has happened since then.

Eastons Holidays coach driver Joe done a simply amazing job today making and fitting replacement wooden roof beams for Bedford OB FNV705 currently under restoration. All seven were hand made by Joe, before him and Bob starting fitting them onto the structure.

We've also managed to find a replacement engine and gearbox for Duple Vega bodied Bedford SBG RSJ422 within a Bedford TL horsebox we have purchased for spare parts. The garage team will complete the transplant of the gearbox and engine soon.

Meanwhile, driver Corbett has almost finished renovating the interior panels of RSJ422. The window mechanisms are now in full working order and the inside walls of the coach are looking fabulous!
